Which One Doesn't Belong?
The Which One Doesn't Belong? Concept Builder is a tool that challenges the learner to use an understanding of the characteristics of projectile motion in order to identify correct and incorrect representations of projectiles. The Concept Builder is modeled after the classic game titled
Which One Doesn't Belong? Learners must inspect vector diagrams (velocity, acceleration, and force), position-time graphs, velocity-time graphs, words, and data tables (position-time and velocity-time) in order to find the one representation that is not consistent with all the others. There are three different levels of difficulty. The levels differ in terms of the number of questions, the number of representations presented in each question, and the complexity of the representations. Question-specific help is provided for each situation. The built-in score-keeping makes this Concept Builder a perfect candidate for a classroom activity.
Users are encouraged to open the Concept Builder and explore. There is no need for an activity sheet for this Concept Builder. However, all the questions used in the activity can be viewed on a single page. View
