Using Graphs Concept Builder
Using Graphs is a Concept Builder focused on various skills associated with the use of plotted data. The Concept Builder consists of three independent activities. In the first activity titled
Calculating Slope, learners practice calculating the slope of a line and identifying the units on the slope. In the second activity titled
For Every ..., learners make an effort to interpret a graph's slope in order to identify the statement that describes the manner in which the dependent variable is related to the independent variable. The third and final activity is titled
Predict! Learners extrapolate from plotted data to predict a numerical value for the dependent variable when given a value for the independent variable. Question-specific help is provided for each of the activities. The built-in score-keeping makes this Interactive a perfect candidate for a classroom activity.
Users are encouraged to open the Concept Builder and begin. There is no need for an activity sheet for this Concept Builder. However, the nine different groups of questions can be printed. View
