Newton's Second Law
The Newton's Second Law Concept Builder is a tool that allows the learner to predict the effect of varying net force and varying mass upon the acceleration of an object. There are 12 different situations to analyze and three ability levels. Each situation involves requires that the learner use proportional reasoning and Newton's Second Law equation in order to determine the acceleration that results when the net force and/or the mass of the object is altered. Question-specific help is provided for each of the 12 situations.
Use of this Concept Builder with our Task Tracker system allows teachers to track student progress.
Users are encouraged to open the Concept Builder and explore. There is no need for an activity sheet for this Concept Builder. However, the 12 different groups of questions can be printed. View
