Case Studies in Circular Motion
The Case Studies in Circular Motion Concept Builder provides learners with the challenge of comparing the speeds, accelerations, and net forces acting upon two objects when given information about the relative radius, period, mass, and speed. Learners must use circular motion equations to think proportionally about these quantities and their dependence upon other variables within the equations. There are 36 questions organized into 12 Question Groups and spread across three activities. Question-specific help is provided for each of the 12 situations. Use of this Concept Builder with our Task Tracker system allows teachers to track student progress.
Users are encouraged to open the Concept Builder and explore. There is no need for an activity sheet for this Concept Builder. However, the 14 different groups of questions can be printed. View
