Measurement and Numbers
The Measurement and Numbers Concept Builder is designed for the beginnings of a quantitative science course - like chemistry, physics, or even physical science. Topics include metric units of measurement (the first activity -
Matching Pairs), the conversion between scientific and standard notation (the second activity -
Scientific Notation), and making measurements to the proper number of significant digits (the third activity -
Measurement). There are a total of 32 questions in this Concept Builder. They are organized into 14 different Question Groups and spread across the three activities. Question-specific help is provided for each of the 14 Question Groups. The built-in score-keeping makes this Concept Builder a perfect candidate for a classroom activity.
Users are encouraged to open the Concept Builder and explore. There is no need for an activity sheet for this Concept Builder. However, the 14 different groups of questions can be printed. View
