Cell Voltage - Questions
The Cell Voltage Concept Builder excels at providing opportunity to analyze a galvanic cell diagram in order to determine the oxidation and reduction half reactions and then to calculate the overall cell voltage using a table of standard reduction potentials. There are a total of 24 questions in this Concept Builder. They are organized into 12 different Question Groups and spread across the three difficulty levels. There is little difference in difficulty between the three levels. Question-specific help is provided for each of the 12 situations. Questions in the same Question Group include identical cell components. The built-in feedback and help makes this Concept Builder a great study tool. When used with our Task Tracker program, it is a great tool for use as an in-class or out-of-class assigned task.
We recommend that you approach this exercise with a digital or printed version of the Reduction Potential table. We have provided one here on our site.
