Which One Doesn't Belong - Acid-Base Properties Concept Builder
The Which One Doesn't Belong - Acid-Base Properties Concept Builder targets a learning goal in which students distinguish between the properties of acids and bases. The focus is on those properties which are observable. Each question has the same format: three to five properties are presented and learners must identify the one representation that is not like the others ... that is the property that is characteristic of a base and not like the other acid properties (or vice versa). There are a total of 36 questions in this Concept Builder. They are organized into 12 different Question Groups and spread across the three difficulty levels. Question-specific help is provided for each of the 12 situations. Questions in the same Question Group include the similar types of representations. The built-in score-keeping makes this Concept Builder a perfect candidate for a classroom activity.
Users are encouraged to open the Concept Builder and explore. There is no need for an activity sheet for this Concept Builder. However, the 12 different groups of questions can be printed. View
