Electric Field Intensity
Students will complete a table of numerical values. The number of
tables to be completed will be either 1 or 2, depending on the ease of
success demonstrated by the student.
Electric Field Intensity
A Source Charge (Q) creates an electric field in the space
surrounding it. A Test Charge (q) that is placed in that space some
distance d away from the source charge will experience the
electric field. The Electric Field Intensity is the ratio of the Force
(F) on the charge per amount of charge on the test charge.
