Concept Checker for Vector Addition Simulation
Our Concept Checker for the Vector Addition simulation consists of 20 questions organized into 5 Question Groups. The majority of the questions have multiple parts. Students must correctly answer one question from each Question Group to
earn the Trophy for this Concept Checker.
Like all our Concept Checkers, it is designed to be used as a follow-up to the use of the
Vector Addition simulation. We recommend the use of our
classroom-ready exercise with the simulation.
The Concept Checker targets student understanding of the following learning outcomes:
- The student should be able to conduct a component analysis of a situation involving the addition of angled vectors.
- The student be able to us the Pythagorean Theorem and SOH CAH TOA to determine the magnitude and direction of a resultant.
